Remote IT Support - Southern Highlands
Remote access software has expanded the range of services we can provide. For example:
• Remote Access Training – One-on-one computer lessons and technical support, anywhere in Australia.
• NDIS related services – We are fortunate to have an AUSLAN expert in-house so we can support people with impaired hearing via two-way video and remote access software.
• We specialise in accessiblity solutions using technology, many of which use cell phones and tablets and work with remote support software.
• Computer software training for seniors includes remote training support for MS-Outlook, MS-Word and MS-Excel.
Typical Remote Support Solutions
Software repairs are not just about fixing bugs! Keeping your software up to date is essential if you want your software to operate without new problems continuously appearing.
Issues you may be facing include:
• Virus Infections – Is your computer system infected with viruses, trojans, or malware? Our preferred range of software solutions comes from Avast, the largest provider of antivirus solutions in the world. The free version of Avast Antivirus may be all that you need. We can install and run it for you via remote support software.
• Poor Performance – If your computer is running slow, we can probably give it a performance boost. Avast has a product called CClean which can speed up PCs. As with the Avast software mentioned above, a free version is available which we can install and run for you via remote support software.
Put simply, if you are able to connect to the Internet, we can help you with a range of repairs, remotely. This means we can help you, wherever you are in the Southern Highlands, NSW, or somewhere else in Australia.
And, if you do not have the appropriate remote access software, we can set you up with our professional, and securely encrypted, remote support software – free of charge.
Remote IT Support Software Benefits
By using Remote IT Support software, we can provide secure, password-protected training support to anyone, anywhere in the world, from right here in the Southern Highlands of NSW.
You don’t have to leave the comfort of your home. The encrypted Remote Support software we use lets us easily and securely access all the files and programs on any computer connected to the Internet. We can run PCs, Macs and printers as if we are sitting alongside you at your keyboard.
During “normal” times, if your PC is still able to start, chances are we can sort it out any problems without needing to travel. And if it can’t start, then we can communicate via cell phone video. (We can still get a lot done via voice-only if you have a slow Internet connection. )
Minimising our travel saves us time, and you money. And because remote access software allows us to provide an essentially contact-less service, it has been a godsend during the Covid pandemic.
Personal IT Training at Home via Video
Video training is an alternative to Remote IT Support software. If you don’t have video set up on your machine or phone, chances are we can get you up going using the hardware and software you currently have. Our video meeting software options include:
• Zoom
• Whatsapp
• Microsoft Teams
• Google Meet
• Skype
• Vimeo
• Viber
We routinely provide one-on-one training support for:
• Remote Desktop Sofwtare
• Avast AntiVirus
• Microsoft Office
• MS-Excel
• MS-Outlook
• MS-Word
Over the years Matt’s PC Help has solved queries for a wide range of hardware and software applications, so even if you need help with software that is not part of our core offering, don’t hesitate to get in touch. There is a bit of “geek” in all of our team members 🙂
